Hello, I’m Christine, I started my hairstyling career in 1999 and took over ownership of The Grand Salon in 2014. I specialize in creating natural looks with low maintenance, blonde highlighting, and great haircuts! I am very detail orientated and a very good listener with an exceptional memory. I take pride in providing a clean relaxed atmosphere where you can feel at home. I keep myself current with several business and technical hair courses each year. Personal growth and mindfulness are very important to me, this is something I work on everyday; I love to learn and challenge myself; I am a great problem solver and share these skills with anyone in need. In my spare time I love hanging out with my husband Scott who is also my best friend and my 2 cats, reading and audio books, cooking, playing back yard games, crafts, pottery (on the wheel), and the ocean are a few of my favourite things. I always look forward to catching up with and spoiling my clients everyday, see you in the chair!

I was born and raised in Kitchener, where I first started my hair career in 2012. I specialize in colour and specialty blonding, and I absolutely love to be able to work with my clients to create a style that is not only their dream hair but also manageable for their lifestyle. I love taking the time to put 100% into every detail from start to finish.
I live in Paris with my partner Chris, our dog and about 100 plants…. Gardening and plants are another passion of mine when I don’t have my hand in your hair or soil you can catch me camping! Like real camping in the middle of nowhere roughing it. The beach and on my paddle, board is where I go to recharge and find my balance, this is what keeps me so chill and calm. My co workers refer to me as a flower boho girl who brings the peace…

My passion for hair really took off in high school when I took cosmetology and did co-op in a beautiful salon. I graduated hair school in 2014. What I love most about being in the hair industry is the endless amount of creativity. Everyday is different and I love connecting with everyone too. Styling hair and creating specialty blondes are my favourite services. I also love to connect with my teammates to help with any hair colour concerns you have and give you optimal results!
I am a small-town girl who is very laid back and down to earth but loves a good adventure. I pick up on vibes and will match all energies when needed. I love to laugh, sing, dance and spend time with my Husband Isaac and adorable daughter Harlyn the summer is our favourite time of year, and you’ll most likely find us on the beach, and camping. My hidden talents are I am a little techy, I can figure out all the latest trends that come up on the social platforms like nobodies’ business it just comes natural to me. The salon trusts me with creating all our social media content.

Hey there, my names Marina and I’ve been practicing hair since 2014. My hair journey started by attending Fanshawe college located in Woodstock while working in the salon doing my apprenticeship at the same time. I love doing blondes, big transformations, and subtle natural looking colours. I have 2 small children and they are my life, one boy and one girl. I feel so blessed to be working in such a down to earth salon atmosphere and beautiful scenery, (the baby cows must be my favourite part). Making you feel relaxed and confident with your fresh hair is top priority to me! When I am not at work, I am obsessed with scenery taking it all in with a photograph or just being in awe of it and enjoying the view, I also love to break into my creative side I enjoy drawing, sculping soap stone, hand build pottery and you can catch me a few times a week at the gym. I just graduated from The Voila Hair Institute in Dec 2023, I love everything this industry has to offer and am so excited to be starting my career at The Grand Salon with these extremely kind and talented stylists. In my short time here, I have learned and grown so much. So far, my favourite service to offer is creating blondes, I am a natural in this category it comes easy to me although I am excited to learn new skills and love challenging myself and trying things that don’t come naturally too. I love the vibe and atmosphere The Grand Salon has, the true authenticity of people caring about people is where I wanted to land because customer service is important to me, and I give 100% all the time so to say I have found my match is true magic. Making the salon clients feel welcome and at home is my goal everyday.
I am a small-town girl, who loves outdoor concerts, walks with friends, traveling and anything with some adventure. Summer is my favourite season and during that time you can find me at my family cottage relaxing and recharging on our boat. Life is for fun and my motto is just enjoy life!
